To help New Yorkers in hard-hit areas like Lower Manhattan and Staten Island who are without power, the company is deploying multiple vehicles with mobile charging stations and free WiFi access points. Local residents are welcome to charge their consumer devices such as smartphones and laptops and access a 4G WiFi connection.
New Yorkers can follow @TWCable_NYC on Twitter to learn the location of the vehicles, which will make extended stops initially this afternoon in the residential areas of the Chinatown, Flatiron district and West Village. Friday, Time Warner Cable will announce additional stops in its service areas. Time Warner Cable retail store locations in Staten Island and in Queens Center Mall also welcome anyone to enter and recharge their devices.
Time Warner Cable will also open all of its WiFi spots in the City so that anyone can take advantage of its high-speed network. Time Warner Cable $B!G (Js local news channel, NY1, has made all content readily available on its website (NY1.com) for any site visitor without having to log in.

All Time Warner Cable stores in the New York City area are open for business, except for a store on East 23rd (JStreet in Manhattan and a location in Mt. Vernon, NY, which are currently without power.
