Throughout October, Intrepid Museum will host a series of activities that include specialized family activities, tours, and speaker events tailored for children and adults who are, or work with, the deaf or hard-of- hearing, blind or partially-sighted, wounded warriors and veterans, or are affected by autism.
Intrepid’s Disability Awareness Month aims to bring together families, children, and adults with varying special needs, and advocates who are involved with creating and supporting opportunities for them.

Don’t Miss the Boat, Operation Slumber is On!
Grab your flashlights, sleeping bags, and fire up your imaginations! From sunset, to sunrise the following morning, Operation Slumber Overnighters will explore Intrepid Museum, visit space shuttle Enterprise on the flight deck, and learn what life was like onboard an aircraft carrier!

This Veterans Day, Honor a Hero
