Its the biggest pet recall in history. At least six different companies have recalled more than 100 brands of pet food. Many pets have died from tainted food and understandably pet owners are worried. Dr. Edling earned a Master of Specialized Veterinary Medicine (MSpVM) from North Carolina State University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Colorado State University. Prior to joining PETCO, Dr. Edling was in private practice in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, specializing in avian and exotic animals. He has written extensively for a variety of avian publications and delivered lectures and presentations at veterinary schools and conferences around the nation.
