– Being a leading organization in implementing all people external relationship in the fields of culture, education, sports, tourism, economy, science and technology… in Hanoi capital and the cities that it have established the relations.

– Establishing solidarity friendship and co-operative relations with other partners in the world.

– Being enable to manage and guide member organization’s activities in peace, friendship and solidarity, and to appeal and receive humanitarian aids.

– HAUFO now have 20 members including bilateral friendship associations and multilateral associations. – Having by legal means to its own account including foreign currency account.

* With the guidline “Vietnam desires to make friends and to be a reliable partner with all other countries in the world community, striving for peace, independence and development…”, Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations highly appreciates all friendship, co-operative, humanitarian and aid activities from organizations and individuals at home and from abroad for promoting and establishing friendship relations between Hanoi people and all the others in the world for the cause of peace prosperity of all nations.
