It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since “A Good Man” was released. What a year it has been! The paperback version was released in April and I continue to receive notes from people across the country -– I am thrilled that Dad’s message of faith, hope and love is resonating with so many. In fact, that message helped the book win a 2013 Christopher Award, which is presented to writers, producers, directors, and illustrators “whose work affirms the highest values of the human spirit.” It was an honor to receive the award in New York City on May 23; please click here to read more about it.
Dad never spoke about his “legacy.” He was focused in the moment, on the person or people he was with –- at the same time, he was looking to the future to see how we could, together, make the world a better place. I think that’s a pretty good “legacy” and I am grateful to you for helping spread his message.
Enough! I hope you are enjoying the summer. Happy Father’s Day to those of you who are dads!
Warmly,
Mark
