. The Metropolitan Museum is honoring Susan Taylor, Bonnie Wang, and Gale Brewer on Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, is celebrating Women’s History Month. As you know, Susan Taylor is the former Editor in Chief of Essence magazine and now runs the group she founded, the National CARES Mentoring Movement, which is dedicated to closing the gap between the relatively few black mentors and millions of struggling black children. Bonnie Wong is President of Asian Women in Business, which supports all aspects of Asian businesswomen and entrepreneurs, from skills-building workshops and seminars to identifying procurement opportunities and providing scholarships. I’m honored to be in their company, and it will be a delightful evening in a beautiful environment. Attendees will also be able to view two current exhibits at the Met, The Nelson A. Rockefeller Vision and Jewels by JAR (jewelry designer Joel A. Rosenthal).
