It’s finally here! The 15th anniversary of the Woodstock Film Festival starts tomorrow with 125+ films screening, revealing Q&A’s, engaging panels, and star-studded events. The world premiere of East Jerusalem/West Jerusalem will kick off the festival on Wednesday 10/15 at the Woodstock Playhouse, followed by a Q&A and live concert with musicians David Broza and Steve Earle.
The opening night film Two Men In Town will screen on Thursday 10/16 and will be followed by newly added The Imitation Game. Festival filmmaker and special guest, Pauly Shore, will perform Live Stand-Up on Saturday, 10/18 after the east coast premiere of his documentary, Pauly Shore Stands Alone.
Also Saturday, the 15th annual Maverick Awards Ceremony will host over 500 guests at the historic Backstage Studio productions in Kingston, NY, where filmmaker Darren Aronofsky will be honored with the annual Honorary Maverick Award presented by Natalie Portman and Jennifer Connelly, and Mark Duplass will be receiving the First Annual Fiercely Independent Award.
The festival will come to a close with the screening of The Better Angels on Sunday 10/19. Films, panels, and events go on through Sunday evening!
