Ailanthus altissima, commonly known as tree of heaven, ailanthus, or in Standard Chinese as chouchun (Chinese: 臭椿; pinyin: chòuchūn; literally: “foul smelling tree”), is a deciduous tree in the Simaroubaceae family.
