This June, members of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) and the UN NGO Association of World Citizens (AWC) will participate in the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD) in Rio de Janeiro.
As Mr. Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary General has said, “Rio+20 will be one of the most important global meetings on sustainable development in our time.” The upcoming Rio+20 conference will provide a great opportunity for people around the world to exchange information and experiences, interact, and pave our way to a greener, safer and more equitable world for future generations. This is a historical moment. We look forward to meeting with you and representatives of your organization in Rio de Janeiro to share the practical experiences we have gained over the years in our respective fields. We believe that every individual’s genuine effort and contributions to global sustainable development is the key to success.
A series of programs have been arranged with the assistance of the Brazilian government and local NGOs to coincide with and support the conference. Participants from different fields are invited to attend. We cordially invite you and your organization to participate. The schedule of events is listed below for your reference.
