A Respected Artist and Humanitarian Takes Her Music and Mission on Tour
AN ARTIST WHO CAME TO SERVE
NEW YORK, NY. There are artists who perform, and there are artists who build. Heidi Little is doing both. Appearing as Aria Lightness, the musical expression of her life and work, Little flowed through Times Square for the International Day of Peace, bringing love, music and the spirit of We The World Tour to one of the most visible stages in the world.
Little’s songs do not come from a marketing room. They come from lived experience and from the moments when music becomes medicine and helps a person make it through. Blending pop, folk and rock, her work invites listeners to breathe, remember who they are and imagine what becomes possible when people choose love. The music is personal, but Little makes it clear that it is ultimately for the audience.
At Duffy Square, her performances of “Water, Remember Me” and “Freedom” carried a simple message into Times Square: peace is something people can feel, practice and build together. Watching Little work, it is difficult not to respect the scale of her commitment. She is using every part of her life, including her music, education, production experience and systems design, to serve people and planet.
