‘Natural Lacquer’ Paintings by Renowned Chinese Artist WENZHI ZHANG

GoodNews attends the event... The artist is wonderful and full of energy.  Her work shows the skill that she has developed over the years.  She is a dedicated artist with many mediums.  We were excited to meet her and applaud her vision of art.  Great Show.  Paul August 21 – October 4. Opening reception: Thursday September 13. 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Chinese Lacquer is the processed sap from lacquer trees that has been an integral component of Chinese decorative art from early times. The Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Center at Val Kill, Hyde Park, New York: On July 15 and July 29, 2012, the first Meera Gandhi Girls' Leadership Awards were presented to the four young participants who best demonstrated the leadership qualities of Courage, Compassion, Collaboration and Curiosity during the Girls' Leadership Worldwide program at the Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Center's annual global leadership program for high school students. The winners, chosen by their peers, were Keira Higgins, Vasiliki Mitsakis, Giovanni Marie Roper and Liza Stambaugh. Meera Gandhi presented the young ladies with new Giving Back Foundation crystal trophies and honorariums. A artist biography is an attempt to offer the reader an opportunity to discover a musical environment, an atmosphere, the songwriter’s inner being, personality, his emotions and inspiration, that which emanates from his creativity. His musical journey. For some it begins early in life and takes years or what seems like a lifetime to surge. John Seeger was definitely born a musician. Learning, practicing and mastering guitar was as much an everyday occupation to him as speaking Japanese and Spanish fluently, obtaining his black belt in karate, creating and building his successful NYC-based construction company, raising his 19 year old daughter and tending to his home and family.
